HOW TO TELL IF A TYPICAL IS GENUINE

Typical as come of age, due to its reputation as a reliable inexpensive machine lots of copies have been made, but not to the standard of a genuine Typical.

Just another example of a fake machine that was is being sold on eBay in Melbourne. eBay as since had it removed but it is likely to still be for sale.

This particular model is obviously not a TYPICAL TW1-2BL20 I used to sell it as a GA254 you can buy them with the Cowboy, Longsew, Keestar name. I used to sell them brand-new with the Camsew name for $3,630.00 the seller obviously believes if you have the typical name on it you can sell it used for $3,800.00. I don't need to go into the details the picture says it all.

FAKE: No Model Number, 18 inch throat, compared to 20 inch, No belt guard. TYPICAL TW1-2BL20

All machines purchased from Camsew Typical Australia have been purchased from Typical international, Xi'an China. Camsew is the only Australian official importer for Typical machines.

If you feel you have purchased a non-genuine machine and you were led to believe that it was a genuine Typical machine, I suggest you contact the company you purchased it from and ask for a refund or for it to be changed for a genuine machine.

You have rights under Australian consumer law for a complete refund or replacement for the genuine item.
